Napoleon Hill Transcripts

Napoleon Hill is famous as the originator of personal development. His influential books and ideas have helped millions of people to attain their own goals for decades now. Napoleon Hill dedicated twenty-five years of his life studying the why of people collapse. From the brilliant ideas and research of one of America’s greatest self-help authors, here are seventeen Napoleon Hill quotes to inspire you to consider greatness…

I think twice before I speak, because your words can plant the seed of success or failure in my mind. Napoleon Hill said,”I’ve learned that what a man can do, that a man can accomplish.” Never underestimate the power of the spoken word, especially when it comes to achieving your targets. Napoleon Hill said,”A man with the ability to operate successfully and efficiently, but who doesn’t expect to be prosperous, is like a man with a wheel who doesn’t know how to use his tool; he believes but does not do.”

I think twice before I do, because only your thoughts on a definite goal and action can prepare you for it and set you free. Napoleon Hill said,”You must be assured that the power of thought and of action are combined, and that these two are inseparable.” The brain controls your body and soul, your spirit controls your mind. Napoleon Hill said,”A man is but the product of his thoughts what he’s done, and the man of actions is but the consequence of his ideas, preparations, and efforts.”

If you can not do great things in a great way, do small things in a great way. Napoleon Hill wrote,”I often hear it said, don’t go beyond your skills. Nothing can be farther from the truth. You may reach your goals but don’t go beyond your attainments.”

Napoleon Hill said,”A man’s work isn’t done when his job is completed; a man’s work is begun then and continued ” Would you like your dreams, desires, and goals to be realized? Then first comes believed, then there’s an implementation, then there’s measuring, and then there is seeing the end results. Napoleon Hill wrote,”First come the ideas, then come the implementation, then are the measures, and last but not least are the joy of this result.”

Napoleon Hill also stated,”The limits of the human mind are permeable; neither can they be unseen, even though the soul may escape for some time the scrutiny of the average person.” Do not put forth your objectives, keep them within your reach, for when you have attained them you will have the ability to see and know their greatness. If you can’t accomplish anything in your life by the power of your will alone, then it is not within the reach of your energy, for will is only an outward form of the interior force that moves outwards toward its objective.

Napoleon Hill also said,”If you expect to climb to the peak of the mountain by keeping steadily in place, you will fail; continue moving, and before you know it you will be standing at the top with the mountain at your back.” Both poverty and riches are the offspring of the same mind, the mind which believe a goal is a dream with a physical goal, and that when that objective is achieved there is no need to continue working to attain it. A positive mind sees a way it can turn into a success, and a negative mind looks for all the reasons why it can’t or won’t.

Napoleon Hill was right about many things, and in his book Think and Grow Rich, he explained why there are no limitations to the mind except those we assemble. That is why he said,”The greatest discovery of my generation is that a man can alter his life by changing the thought which he receives from his surroundings.” Thus, if you believe that there are no reasons why you can’t become a success and poverty and wealth won’t stop flowing, then you are either unaware of them, or you are creating them yourself. You can make a difference in this world and take control of your own destiny.
